Mayfair Lane offers a stylish light that can easily be kept with you so it’s ready when you need it! I was lucky enough to get a chance to try them out for myself, and I really like them! Not only are they great looking, but they are really very handy to have around.

The light has three LED lights that are activated when the top is pulled from the base. It’s super easy to use, and the light is also very bright! I loved that they come with a carabiner and key ring, which made it easy for me to attach it to my purse. I already used it when I needed to find something in my car and it was too dark to see easily! It was so nice to have a light handy.

Because they use LED lights, they last 40 straight hours before the batteries need replacing. The lights would be great for if the power went out, are a perfect size for hiking and camping, and would make an awesome gift! I love the way they look, and with 26 fun patterns to choose from, there is truly something to suit everyone’s style.

Mayfair Lane has a lot of other fun items that we didn’t get to try out, including notepads, frames, and other even clips that work on mirrors and stainless steel refridgerators! A very fun website indeed. The light ups are $10 a piece, and worth every penny! They even come with a set of replacement batteries! You can’t get much more wish list worthy than that.

Francis Kurkdjian is considered one of the greatest perfumers in the industry and is recognized worldwide for creating more than 20 of the best-selling fragrances of all time. We recently got the chance to smell some scent samples, and try the perfumed incense papers from his new line of scents for the home.

All I can say is wow. There were so many lovely smells, I couldn’t choose a favorite. I was also impressed by the way the samples were presented, and especially how fresh the incense papers smell. The papers, which even come with matches, are a truly unique way to scent a room. The scent of our sample was Aqua Universalis – The idea of water that crosses between skin and fabric, between sheets and air. With notes of Bergamon and Lemon from Sicily, White Bouquet, Light and Musky Wood. It’s a scent that is light, but also strong, and very good for a shared bedroom, as it’s niether too feminine or too masculine.

Francis has done some exciting and creative things in the world of fragrance. He created a scent for the fountains of Versailles, recreated the perfume of Marie-Antoinette and even created a dessert based on scent for Plaza Athenee restaurant. The electric experiences have inspired the unique offerings in the collection including: liquid detergent, incense papers, bubbles and a scented leather bracelet along with fine fragrances. I thought the bubbles were an especially fun and unique idea.

The home collection has four key items: candles, interior scents, incense papers and perfuming laundry wash with matching fabric softener. Available for order online via Maison Francis Kurkdjian. There is even an option of having a personal perfume created just for you. If that isn’t wish list worthy, I don’t know what is.

Designer Doggy (one of our awesome sponsors) sent us a bottle of Pet Head shampoo for Baby to try. You may be familiar with the human version, known as Bed Head! It’s a high quality shampoo, and we were thrilled to see that they offer a pet line. We chose the “Life’s and Itch” version of the shampoo because our sweet dog has dry skin. The shampoo smells wonderful, and she didn’t mind getting into the bath to have a good washing since it smelled like a treat.

This particular version (and there are many other choices too) is made especially to help with itchy skin. It contains no harsh chemicals, coal tar or drugs such as cortisteroids. It did a great job, not only did it get our little dog clean, but she wasn’t itching as much after she had been washed with the Pet Head product.

Because we live in a dry climate, especially in the winter, it was great to find a product that could help her. After all, it’s not like you can easily put lotion on a dog! We also thought that the packaging was really fun, and the bone on the lid is not just cute, but helpful too (makes it easier to open).

My husband is a huge fan of soda, so of course when we got the chance to review a product that allows you to easily make soda in your home, we couldn’t say yes fast enough! The Sodastream system makes it easy and affordable to make your own soda at home. Not only is it easy to use, it’s also really fun. We have been having such a great time deciding which flavor to try out next (they have a huge selection of syrups).

The Sodastream works with regular water, that is put into a special bottle. The bottles are reusable, and easy to keep clean, so it’s really a great way to save money and reduce the amount of plastic going into the landfill as well. The system carbonates the water, with makes it perfect for adding whichever flavor you want. The other thing that we love about it is that you can add as much or as little carbonation as you like. This is perfect for us since I prefer a little bit of bubbles while my husband loves drinks to have tons of them.

With 30 different flavors, including diet options and energy drinks, there is really something for everyone. And, they taste great too! We also love that the diet syrups don’t contain aspartame, they are sweetened with Splenda. All of the syrups are free from high fructose corn syrup. Each bottle of sodamix makes about 12 liters of soda (about 33 cans!). Also, because you can make the soda when you feel like it, we noticed that it kept fresh and carbonated much longer than store bought soda. Plus, who enjoys lugging big liters of soda or heavy cans in from the grocery store? We are home soda making converts now!

It’s a great size, and fits just right in our kitchen. It can be used just about anywhere that you have a flat surface, since you don’t need to plug it in or have batteries. We both thought the design was great, sleek, and would fit well with any kitchen decor.

Now that we have one, we are hooked! They would make an excellent housewarming gift, or anytime gift, especially for someone who already has everything. Shironeko Holga : The White Cat

We love cameras and photography in our household. So of course we were thrilled to have a chance to try this “toy” camera called the Shironeko (white cat) from Four Corner Store. Four Corner Store is a toy camera lovers paradise! They have a wide range of options for camera enthusiasts.

The package that the Shironeko Holga camera comes in is so fun! It arrives inside a round tin with a photo of a cat face on it. Once you pop the top open, you then see the camera, which follows the cat theme with it’s fun wink and lens eye. I could not wait to get the batteries in and start taking photos.

Though it looks and acts like a toy, complete with lights and even cat sounds, it is also a Holga lens camera that can produce some interesting photos. Another great thing about it, unlike a lot of Holga cameras, this camera takes 35mm film. I was really excited to try it out and see what kind of results would come from this unique camera.

I took photos in a lot of different settings, since this camera does come with a flash, I was able to try it out inside as well as shooting photos outside. My favorite photo comes from the time I used it to take a photo of our dog. You can bet that Baby was interested when she heard cat sounds coming from the camera! In fact, as you can see in the photo, she kept trying to get as close to the camera as possible. I still think it’s a fun shot though, so I am sharing it.

The Shironeko Holga is a lot of fun, and it was really fun to take photos with. In an age of digital cameras, there was something really fun about having to wait until the roll was all used, get the photos developed, and everything that we used to have to do when we took photos. That’s what toy cameras are about though, at least for us, the sense of nostalgia.
