    I’m currently having to organize my parents house which they have lived in for over 45 years. *insert help sign here* My mom is a pack rat and my dad has no patience.

    When my daughter was five my parents took her from me due to my alcoholism. I moved to florida April 4 2007, the day my daughter turned 19, with 10 1/2 years sobriety, my car payed off and money saved for the move after years of working two and three jobs.
    mothers day 2008 I saw her get her associates degree with 3.8 GPA. Even though she lives five minutes from me, she sent me a card saying thanks for being at my college graduation, standing beside me and cheering me on. I still have bad days and problems like I was just layed off work. I can use anything that will make my days easier

    I have downsized from a 4 bedroom 3200 sq. ft house to a 2 bedroom duplex with less than 1000 sq. ft.! I SOOOO need some help on trying to figure out what can stay and what needs to go … and then how to organize the stuff that stays!!

    I could use the advice - we are moving in August and the last time we did we were so ridiculously unorganized that it took months to get our place even in reasonable shape - some boxes were just shoved into closets, it was ridiculous!

    I used to think myself as being organized and staying on top of things, but as my life gets more cluttered and more complicated, I realized I could use some practical and useful advice. I proably have read 10 books on how to get, be, stay organized and none of them offered real solutions for real people. Having read and relished the Real Simple Magazine, I’m sure this book will really help anyone who is lucky enough to win it, and I sure hope I am one of them.

     HELP! My husband and I have moved twice in the past-year. One of those moves was cross-country. I was working a job with long hours and lots of travel. So I was never able to get organized to begin with. Now I have boxes and boxes of “stuff” that we moved. I am dreading sorting thru these boxes and getting the house setup.      I have come to realize that my life improves when things are organized. Someone in my office brought in several Real Simple magazines and I’ve used the ideas to re-organize areas of my home.      My biggest priority besides Improving my health (I have CFS/Fibromyalgia and Lupus) is LEARNING to Organize and Simplify as my energy is precious!
     I lost my Mom and Identical Twin Sister both suddenly with in the last few years. My Mom & Twin were so very supportive & loving. We were so very close!!! We shared so many dreams.
     Having a twin let alone one that was so organized, talented & loving like my twin sister Carla…. I was to one who did all the detail work.
     I was half of a whole……..
     I have all my families thing to go through, organize plus decide what to give away, keep or sell along with lots of paperwork!
     I really would love to see what things in this book could help me.

     When we moved into our new home a little over a year ago, we threw everything whee it landed just to get the moving over. We then had major renovations going on for the past 10 months and though everything has been put away, now I need to go back and really organize. Find a home for everything.

     When you have kids at home you are focused on the home and your family. When kids are grown and gone, you are free to get involved in all you want. Unfortunately, I am not good at saying no. At 54 I really need to simplify my life.
