I had heard a lot of great things about the Yummie Tummie shape ware collection. I was finally able to try one out. I ordered a basic black tank, and was pretty excited to finally wear it. Sadly, I didn’t find it to be that great at all.
First of all, they are extremely expensive at $62 for the tank, and another $10 for shipping on top of that. Secondly, and most importantly, it didn’t hold me in at all. I was very careful to follow the sizing chart, and I got the right size for my measurements, but it was no different for me than wearing a regular tank top. I don’t think the sizes run big, because parts of the tank fit right, but overall it was a bit loose, so it was useless as shape ware. Also the Yummie Tummie continually crept up and bunched in the “shaping” area, making it very uncomfortable to wear.
I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone, especially at the price. I am sure that you can find better working shape ware products at a lower cost.

Yes…you can find better shapewear at a better price. Check out http://www.slimpressions.com. They are the original shapewear to slim the arms, back and midriff. They pride themselves on being comfortable and not rolling up. They really work. I just had the fashion editor of a major national fashion magazine get back to me and tell me that Slimpressions was much more comfortable than the other brand she just did a segment about on Good Morning America. I’d say that is quite an endorsement considering that brands like Yummie Tummie have celebrity ties.
I think if you the Sassybax Torso Trim you’ll really like it. It’s true to its name and does away with bra bulge troubles, too. I bought mine online: http://www.sassybax.com
