I was really excited to be able to try out PictureItPostage personalized postage stamps. I admit, I am a big fan of snail mail, and being able to make my own stamps was something that I had always wanted to try!

The PictureItPostage website made it so simple to create my own stamps. I used a photo of our cute dog,  because who can ever get enough of seeing her? All I had to do is choose which photo I wanted, and if I wanted to change the color of the bar on the side (I did change it to a blue/green color). They did the rest! The stamps came so quickly after my order too!

I can’t wait to use them! And I am planning to order more for our holiday cards as well. What a fun way to add a little sparkle to your snail mail!

I think that this retro style telephone is totally wish list worthy! Of course, I have a soft spot for all things retro, but there is just something about the classic, simple, yet elegant lines, of this phone. I would love to let this phone hang out on my desk!

Peace of Mind is a product that you can use anytime you feel stressed. You simply place a dab on the back of your neck, temples, and earlobes. The tingling sensation and stress relieving aromas help melt away the tension. This product also is part of Origins breast cancer awareness promotion, so buying it helps fund breast cancer research! Yummie Tummie Review

Thursday
Oct 9,2008

I had heard a lot of great things about the Yummie Tummie shape ware collection. I was finally able to try one out. I ordered a basic black tank, and was pretty excited to finally wear it. Sadly, I didn’t find it to be that great at all.

First of all, they are extremely expensive at $62 for the tank, and another $10 for shipping on top of that. Secondly, and most importantly, it didn’t hold me in at all. I was very careful to follow the sizing chart, and I got the right size for my measurements, but it was no different for me than wearing a regular tank top. I don’t think the sizes run big, because parts of the tank fit right, but overall it was a bit loose, so it was useless as shape ware. Also the Yummie Tummie continually crept up and bunched in the “shaping” area, making it very uncomfortable to wear.

I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone, especially at the price. I am sure that you can find better working shape ware products at a lower cost.

It’s really nice to see so many products coming out in support of breast cancer research. Winsor Pilates is a very good workout, and I imagine that this pink version is just as great as the regular. But why not work out and support a good cause at the same time?

Bethesda Sunscreen Soap is a very innovative product! It’s a bar of soap that contains sunscreen so you can protect your skin for the day while you wash. What could be easier than just replacing your regular bar of soap with one that can actually save your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

The first time I tried it was on a day when I knew I would be out in the sun a lot, a Saturday! The sunscreen seemed to do it’s job, as I didn’t get burned at all after spending the day in the garden. The SPF is 10, which is a perfect level of protection for everyday.

The soap is made with natural ingredients, and is reasonably priced at $8 a bar (considering the cost of regular sunscreen, this is a bargain)! The only problem that I had with the soap was the scent. Unfortunately it made me sneeze, but I have a very sensitive nose. It would likely not be an issue for most people, and the scent itself is a nice, light one.

So, if you want to add suncreen to your daily routine, but not have the hassel of applying it, the Bethesda Sunscreen Soap is the perfect product for you! Also, for more reviews of this product be sure to visit the Family Review Network.
