G.W. Little carries the perfect summer product for your dog! The cooling mat, and cooling top, are both amazing products that are made with Aloha in Hawaii. They come in fun Hawaiian prints, but it’s what is on the inside that makes these products truly amazing! Each item has crystals quilted throughout, when the crystals are soaked in cool water, they turn into a gel. The amazing gel keeps the water at a cool temperature of 65º for three to seven days (depending on how long you soak the piece)!

In the desert heat (we were already at 100 degrees when this photo was shot), you can bet that Baby is loving her cooling top so much! In fact, she can’t wait to get into it! It’s the perfect way to keep her cool while she is outside. She loves the mat just as much, and when she isn’t laying on it in the day, we put it on top of her sleeping crate at night to help cool her through the night.

They are very simple to use, just a quick soak in cold water, then let the item air dry. We soaked our mat for longer than the top because when you do soak them, the crystals expand and get heavier. So, it’s good to be aware of how much your dog can carry, since you want them to be comfortable. We soaked our top for about a minute and it has stayed cool for days! The mat we let soak for almost 10 minutes, and it got very puffy and full. I think it will last even longer than a few days!

The great thing about the products? They are both well made, safe for your pet, and they work very well! It’s a great way to make sure that your dog stays cool in the summer heat. I wish I had one for myself!
