That’s right, it’s time to talk about toilets! Our toilet recently broke and needed to be replaced. Luckily we found a great replacement in the Kohler Kelston (K-11435-0). It had all the features we were looking for, including a powerful flush while also being water saving. It isn’t dual flush, but it sure is great, saving 20% more water than standard toilets.

It is also chair height, with an elongated bowl. I have to admit, the chair height works very well for taller people. However, if you are a bit short like I am (5’5″) it’s not that comfortable if you have to sit on it for a long amount of time. At 16.5 inches tall, your feet might not be flat on the floor (this is how it is for me), causing your legs to fall asleep more quickly. My husband, on the other hand, has been thrilled with the height since he is tall. We also both thing that the elongated bowl is more comfortable. We also thought that as toilets go, it is actually quiet stylish!

The other great thing is that it was very easy to install ourselves. The toilet comes with everything! It has the bowl, tank, seat, and all that is needed to install it. We were able to do it in about an hour. It would have been faster had our previous toilet been installed right too.
