KettleWorx

I have a goal to be healthy, and be in shape to do the things I want to do. Working out at home is always a nice option, especially if you are short on time. KettleWorx is a great work out system, especially if you don’t have a ton of time, but want to really work your body!

The system is made to be used 3 times a week for 20 mins each time, with recovery days in between. The workouts are also laid out in 3 basic DVDs (cardio, core, and resistance), with each containing 6 workouts to be used each week for a 6 week body transformation. KettleWorx has made it as easy as possible to follow the 6 week plan to get in great shape. Each workout on every DVD includes all three elements, but you will see a greater emphasis on the key element in the title. In addition to the workouts that are in the 6 week system, there are supplement workouts that can be used in addition to the core DVDs (after a recovery day of course).

The workouts are easy to follow, explained well, and will work your muscles! I thought I was in fairly good shape since I walk daily and also hoopdance. Imagine my surprise when I was feeling muscles working that I hadn’t felt in ages! Wow! I was really impressed that using the kettle weight made such a big difference without even being a heavy weight (I started at 5 pounds). It really gets your blood pumping too, but without anything high impact.

They do warn not to use the system if you have knee or shoulder problems, and this is a good warning. My knees are a little weak, and so I had to modify the moves to put less pressure on them since there is a lot of squatting. I am still able to do most of the moves, and can feel that I am getting stronger (which is great)! My husband loves it too!
