I have a goal to be healthy, and be in shape to do the things I want to do. Working out at home is always a nice option, especially if you are short on time. KettleWorx is a great work out system, especially if you don’t have a ton of time, but want to really work your body!

The system is made to be used 3 times a week for 20 mins each time, with recovery days in between. The workouts are also laid out in 3 basic DVDs (cardio, core, and resistance), with each containing 6 workouts to be used each week for a 6 week body transformation. KettleWorx has made it as easy as possible to follow the 6 week plan to get in great shape. Each workout on every DVD includes all three elements, but you will see a greater emphasis on the key element in the title. In addition to the workouts that are in the 6 week system, there are supplement workouts that can be used in addition to the core DVDs (after a recovery day of course).

The workouts are easy to follow, explained well, and will work your muscles! I thought I was in fairly good shape since I walk daily and also hoopdance. Imagine my surprise when I was feeling muscles working that I hadn’t felt in ages! Wow! I was really impressed that using the kettle weight made such a big difference without even being a heavy weight (I started at 5 pounds). It really gets your blood pumping too, but without anything high impact.

They do warn not to use the system if you have knee or shoulder problems, and this is a good warning. My knees are a little weak, and so I had to modify the moves to put less pressure on them since there is a lot of squatting. I am still able to do most of the moves, and can feel that I am getting stronger (which is great)! My husband loves it too!

We recently got the chance to add a bit of Paris to our home thanks to a wall decal from Graphique de France. We now have an Eiffel Tower in our hallway, though they offer many other options as well. It’s a large sized decal, and makes a big impact in a space where we usually would just have a boring wall. It’s a lot of fun too!

It was easy to apply, and came in parts that were a bit like a puzzle. There were great instructions inside, including numbered pieces and a detail showing which pieces go where. Starting from the top down, I was able to add style to our home less than 10 mins! Be sure you have a tape measure handy, and I would recommend that if you have one, use a level to make sure that you are getting the decals on straight, otherwise you might end up like us and have a bit of a lean. The good news is the decals are removable, and reusable! They do come off without hurting the wall, and if you do decide to change decor (or even if you move house), you can restick them.

They do work best on a smooth surface, but we have “orange peel” on our walls and the decals still stick. I did wipe down our wall first as well, which helps the decals stick too. Wall decals are such a fun and easy way to add a little something extra to a room, and they are affordable as well (the Eiffel Tower is just $19.95).

DIG tee in black

You may have noticed Karina Smirnoff from the hit television show, Dancing With the Stars, wearing a Dog is Good “DIG Bling” tee at rehearsals. Well, I was lucky enough to get my very own DIG shirt for review on this site! I just love it!

First of all, the shirt is high quality, with a nice, womanly fit. It’s made from ultra-soft prima cotton which makes it a fast favorite to wear. Comfort is always king when I choose my clothes, and I especially love cotton because it breathes well. This shirt has everything I love, including some serious bling! Prepare to dazzle.

The tee is available in bright blue and in black. The sparkling rhinestones are amazing, and trust me on this, you will get noticed when you wear one of their tees! I have had so many comments on this shirt (from people I know and many I don’t)! It adds a bit of glamor to the everyday, but it’s also a fun way to meet other dog lovers!

In addition to their fun tees, Dog is Good offers tanks, hoodies, hats, sleepwear, greeting cards and other gifts featuring unique designs for dog lovers. The prices are reasonable, and the tee I got has held up through washings and still looks new.

Dog is Good was launched in 2008 by Gila Kurtz, a professional dog trainer, and J. Nichole Smith, a professional pet photographer/designer, both of whom wanted a way to combine their passion for dogs with fashion. I think they have done a great job reaching their goal, as the shirts are both fashionable, and absolutely show a love for dogs! Very wish list worthy indeed.
