If you love plants, or know someone who does, then the products that Dunecraft has to offer will make you so excited! I love plants, so I was very happy to try out their Hydro-Dome hydroponic grow dome. But they have so many other fun products too, for example their Strange Plants collection features plants that move, plants that grow eyeballs, plants that grow flowers that look like brains, and plants that eat flies and small insects!

The kit comes with everything that you need, and good clear instructions on how to set up your dome. They even include stickers so you can make the outside look as pretty as the inside. The very cool part is that they are all grown without dirt, and they grow very fast! Our seeds were sprouting within two days, and they love the windowsill and are going like gangbusters. We are going to have lettuce to eat in no time at all!

It is very easy to set up, and fun to watch. It amazed me how quickly the plants started growing. Once they have sprouted and get roots going down through the growing pod, the fun starts with fertilizer, and aeration. They include all of the items you need for that as well. The complete kit is just $29.99 and would be a perfect gift for teaching children about plants, or just for someone who loves plants. There is just something about the story, The Nutcracker, that makes it feel like Christmas. It has been one of our favorite ballets since we were young, and the one we try to see live when we get a chance. Recently we got a copy of a DVD called Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker. I think that it is a great way to introduce the ballet to the little girls in your life.

ST. LOUIS (Feb. 12, 2009) – A new movement is brewing and, even before the official kick-off this week, Love. Hugs. Peace.™ has already piqued the interest and support of more than 50,000 kids who want to make the world a better place. Cheyanne from the United States has pledged to tutor someone in a subject she knows well. John in the United Kingdom has promised to do something nice for friends or family and Aaliyah from Switzerland has vowed to volunteer time to a special cause. The movement and the pledges are growing daily as word spreads around the world to children from Oceania, Asia, Europe, North America and South America who understand that no matter how young or old they are, they can help make a difference one hug at a time.

The global giving movement being launched by Build-A-Bear Workshop® is designed to empower its young Guests to make the world a better place. The movement offers a variety of ways to engage Guests, including new avenues to give back, and builds on company programs that recognize, celebrate and reward community service. A special song, “Let’s Talk About Love,” was created to bring the Love. Hugs. Peace. movement to life and empower kids to spread the message of sharing and love. The song was written especially for  Build-A-Bear Workshop by award winning music producer, song writer and CEO/CCO of DMI Music & Media Solutions, Tena Clark. The powerful song will become the anthem of the movement, embodying the spirit of love, peace and giving.

Acclaimed artist David Archuleta of American Idol fame is the first artist to join the movement. His version of the song is available beginning Feb. 14 through March 4. During this timeframe, Guests will receive the song download as a thank you for their $1 donation to Save the Children made either online at www.buildabear.com/lovehugspeace or at any of the participating Build-A-Bear Workshop stores.

During this same time, Build-A-Bear Workshop will match each donation up to $50,000. Archuleta fans will also be able to purchase a tee featuring his photo for their furry friend available in stores and online. Archuleta is just the first of what is to be an all star line up of singers who will lend their vocal talents to sing, “Let’s Talk About Love.” Additional artists are set to jump on board to record the song with their own unique sounds and styles as the movement continues throughout the year.

We are lucky owners of wall decals from the awesome website Bored Inc. When we saw these elephants, we knew we had to feature them here because they are very wish list worthy! Wall decals are a quick and easy way to add fun to a room, and they don’t have to be permanent either! We love elephants, so of course we loved these!

They would look adorable in a nursery or any other place that needs a bit of whimsy and fun!

I would have loved this as a kid! We think it’s wish list worthy because it is so retro-tastic! What little girl (or boy) wouldn’t love to play in such a great kitchen?
