I first heard about The Ivory Magnolia shop through a giveaway going on right now at Purplepinkandorange.com. Wow their stuff looks delicious! And delicious stuff is absolutely wish list worthy in my book. I am really tempted by all the scents, but especially the jasmine. I love the smell of jasmine.

I just learned of a very cool website called Angie Hearts. They have a lot of wish list worthy goodies, and their prices are quiet good as well. Right now I am loving this green bead necklace:

There is just something that I love so much about jewelry made from precious stones. The natural beauty of it seems to go with just about anything at all. Very wish list worthy indeed!

We would love to have these in our garden! We think almost everything that is solar powered is wish list worthy, but what a great idea to have stepping stones that light up the way in the dark.

These come in a two pack, and are from Gaiam.com. What a fun way to dress up your outdoors for the summer, and go a little green at the same time.

Blue Citrus Art has some very lovely prints. We think all of them are wish list worthy, but especially this White Cherry Blossom print. If you click the image you will be taken to their Etsy shop where you can purchase any of their amazing prints.

We found out about them through Purplepinkandorange, they are having a giveaway featuring Blue Citrus Art, and one lucky winner will get to choose a print (enter soon, the contest ends June 14th at midnight).

Casio Waveceptor Watch

Wednesday

This watch is amazingly wish list worthy! Why? Because it sets itself! That’s right, no more worrying if you have the right time. No more fiddling with your watch just because of daylight savings time and other things like that. Isn’t that cool? Yes indeed, we want one!

Chic Shopper Chick
just happens to be giving one away on her blog too.

We absolutely love the Nintendo Wii gaming system, and are hoping to get our hands on a Wii Fit sometime very soon. Wish list worthy for so many reasons, first it’s just plain fun. Second, it actually can help you get into better shape! It’s a great way to work out and we can’t wait to see what other new games will come out in the future that utilize the unique Wii Fit board.

Review: Gorgeously Green

I was really excited to get a copy of Gorgeously Green for review! What a fun book! Most of the time books about “going green” can be a mix between a guilt trip and a horror movie. This book, while it did address the reasons why certain things we use everyday are bad for us, it did it in a more friendly way and offered simple solutions to help go a little greener.

Each chapter has a page with 5 things you can choose from to help you be a little more eco-friendly with your choices. You can choose to do just one, or all of the suggestions, but like the author says throughout the book, even if you just make one change you are making a difference.

Some of the options for being greener are pretty pricey though, which is sadly still the case with so many quality products. And be warned, some changes would take a lot of getting used to (have you ever tried natural shampoos or deodorants?), while others are really easy to get used to (we love our bamboo sheets, they are so soft). Overall though, the suggestions are simple enough that anyone should be able to incorporate at least one change into their lives.

I really enjoyed the book, and would recommend Gorgeously Green to anyone interested in doing a little more for the planet while staying gorgeous at the same time.
