muvee Reveal
muvee Reveal is movie making software made easy. One lucky reader will have a chance to win their own muvee Reveal software (a $60 value)! Here are just a few of the fun things you can do with the software:
Create a “summer scrapbook” for distant family to see what you were up to this summer, or create a back to school muvee. Create a dvd keepsake to send to family or friends. muvee has a feature called magicMoments that allows you to focus in on that special moment in a video clip – whether the kiss at the wedding, your kids first home run, baby’s first step and lets you highlight those moments that are the most special (we also let you “thumbs down” those clips you want skipped: a tantrum, a fall, a person you just don’t like!). Use muvee to create video blog posts. The ideas are endless!
To enter, please visit the muvee Reveal website, then leave a comment on this post telling us what YOU would do with the software! Note, the software is only for PC. You may enter daily until the giveaway ends at midnight on October 10th, 2009.

This giveaway is now closed, congrats to Jenny Smith who wrote “One of my biggest failings as a mother is my complete lack of scrapbooking skills (or, quite frankly, even a desire to sit down and create something crafty and cutesy). When I see a program like this, it gives me hope that all the pictures on my hard drive could, eventually, serve a purpose other than acting as my screensaver. Even if I don’t win this, I might just have to ask for it for Christmas!”.

At Home With Friends
I hadn’t heard of Joshua Bell until I got the chance to review his new album, At Home With Friends. It turns out that he is a Grammy Award winning violinist! This particular album came about from his love of hosting music evenings in his home. Well, he certainly has some talented friends to collaborate with!
I always love to hear new artists, and this album sounded so different from anything else I had heard before. It didn’t hurt that Sting, and Regina Spektor, both of whom make music I love, took part in the album. In fact, the Regina Spektor track turned out to be my favorite one. I also really love the fast beats of the song Para Ti, a fun world beat song.
The album is such a varied range of musical styles, from classics to Brodway, jazz, bluegrass, and even a Beatles cover! There are even some seasonal songs. All of the songs have a very different mood and feeling, but they all showcase what a talented violinist Joshua Bell is.

We love Halloween around our house, and of course that means that our dog, Baby, gets in on the fun as well. Just look at this adorable clown costume from GW Little that she recently got the chance to review!

It comes with a cute hat, but our dog just wouldn’t leave it on. She loves clothes, but not always hats! The hat did look so fun while it was on though. I hope that we can get her used to it in time for Halloween, it really makes the costume complete, but you can see that it’s still very cute, even without the hat.
This is a high quality costume, much nicer than many of the costumes for people that I have seen. It is very easy to put on, with leg holes for the back legs, and a snap front closure. The “pajama” style of the outfit looks adorable when the dog is walking around. Of course it is also made to be pet friendly, with plenty of room for your dog to do it’s business without getting the costume dirty.
GW Little has a lot of fun costumes for your dog! If they are all as nice as this one, which I am sure they are, the hardest part will be choosing just one! Everything from cheerleader to taco, there is something fun for any small dog. I love the pirate costume, and of course, we think the clown costume is awesome. It’s so much cuter in person too!
Be sure to visit the GW Little website to see all the great costumes and other Halloween items for your dog. Also, be sure to enter your dog in to the Halloween photo contest!
I was lucky enough to get a gift card to spend at Tiny Prints last year. I ordered some very fun, personalized note cards for myself. Not only are they great for those quick notes I sometimes want to write, but I loved the quality and service that I got from them. So, when they wanted to be a sponsor on our blog to help promote their holiday cards, I jumped at the chance to help spread the word about them! They have an amazing selection of cards, but there is one that caught my eye… a New Year’s card that features a penguin to cut out and stand up! How fun is that?!

What I didn’t know is that sending cards for New Years is actually a big deal in Japan and in some other parts of the world too. I really like the idea, and may be ordering these for our holiday season card this year. The Precious Penguin cards come ready to mail with envelopes, and can be personalized with your message. They were also designed by DwellStuido.
Be sure to check out their full selection of holiday cards, invitations, and stationary. They truly have so many options, there is something for everyone.
