We loved that it gave our sweet dog a comfortable place to sleep, up just enough from the floor, but while also being easy for her to get onto. The latex filler is also very easy for her to “dig” and adjust to her liking. It doesn’t take her very long to get cozy! In fact, it’s much harder to convince her to leave the bed!

I have always had very dry skin, and living in a dry climate certainly doesn’t help. I am forever applying lotion to keep my hands from cracking and bleeding. So of course I was very excited to try the Avocado Butter from Body Systems! I am very happy with the results, not only is the butter natural, but it has worked wonders with my dry skin!

Avocado butter is a very rich, moisturizing treatment for the hair and skin, and it has some natural sunscreen properties.

It has a nice light scent, which is great for those of us who are sensitive to scent. Not very long ago I got the most beautiful bouquet of my absolute favorite flowers! What a treat! The gorgeous bouquet came through FedEx and arrived in perfect form. It brightened our kitchen for almost a week before the flowers started to fade and had to be put in the compost pile.

The Himalayan Trading Post is an amazing web store that offers unique handmade candles.  Just look at the candle we got to try out, the Fleur de Lys tumbler in the Peony scent. Here is what it looks like:

Because it’s made from soy wax, the candle is clean burning, and it also has a strong scent that you can smell in the room even when the candle isn’t lit. It also has a nice long burn time (50 hours). I really love the look of the candle, but it’s also important to me that they are handmade with a desire to offer a great product with out a lot of excess packaging. They are also reusable and refillable, making them a great decorative investment.
