Decorama decals from Bored Inc are an easy and fun way to add interest to your walls. We got the chance to test drive one ourselves! This is the design that we got:

Applying the decal to the wall is just like putting a sticker on. Just be sure to wash the spot that you are going to put it on, and then make sure it’s completely dry on the wall. I imagine that it would also go on a smooth surface better than a wall with “orange peel” texture like ours has, but it still went on our wall and is holding strong! The decals are removeable (though not reusable), so it would be a fun and easy way to dress up a wall in a rental without being worried about making your landlord upset.

ThinkGeek is a web store that has so many awesome gadgets, toys, and shirts for the geeks among us. Of course, we are proud to be geeks and have a few goodies from their shop. Recently we got the chance to try out the USB Memory Watch. That’s right folks, a watch that has a built in USB memory stick. This watch is not only a handy way to keep files at your fingertips, but it is also a great watch with a simple style that would suit any man.

The watch offers options of 2- 8 GB of storage depending on which you order. It uses USB 2.0 connectivity, and is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems (check the site for specifics). You can also use password security, and it is shock proof and anti-static. The watch itself is also very nice, with Japan movement and a 3 year battery life. It looks great on too! You would never suspect that it held a secret USB storage device!

Back in the day, people would tie a piece of string around their finger to help them remember something important. We recently got to try their bedding, which creates a “sleep envelope” with a mattress pad and a comforter.  Both are filled with Natura Smart Wool™ which regulates body temperature throughout the night.  The natural wool fill in the comforter and mattress pad naturally wicks moisture away from the body, which also helps repel allergens through creating a dry sleep environment.

We have both been so impressed at the quality of both the mattress cover and the comforter. The comforter is a perfect “summer weight” and has been amazingly comfortable for both of us (my husband tends to get warm while I tend to sleep on the cool side). It’s also super soft, and the color of the natural unbleached cotton is perfect for any room, ours included.  In fact, we have loved this comforter so much that we plan to buy a winter weight version.

The comforter has a 100% cotton outer with the wool fill. Like I said earlier, the cotton is super soft, and it feels so nice, especially knowing that it is natural. It is also quilted to keep the fill from shifting and bunching. I imagine that it would work well in a duvet cover, but we like the way it looks on it’s own (a nice creamy color).

The mattress pad is far better than any other we have had in the past. It not only will protect your mattress, but it adds the comfort of the Natura Smart Wash Wool. It’s machine washable, and can fit pillowtops (up to 12″). I really like how sturdy it is, our other mattress pad was very flimsy, this one is super high quality, and offers the same protection against common allergens through the moisture control of the wool.
