Yummie Tummie Review

I had heard a lot of great things about the Yummie Tummie shape ware collection. I was finally able to try one out. I ordered a basic black tank, and was pretty excited to finally wear it. Sadly, I didn’t find it to be that great at all.

First of all, they are extremely expensive at $62 for the tank, and another $10 for shipping on top of that. Secondly, and most importantly, it didn’t hold me in at all. I was very careful to follow the sizing chart, and I got the right size for my measurements, but it was no different for me than wearing a regular tank top. I don’t think the sizes run big, because parts of the tank fit right, but overall it was a bit loose, so it was useless as shape ware. Also the Yummie Tummie continually crept up and bunched in the “shaping” area, making it very uncomfortable to wear.

I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone, especially at the price. I am sure that you can find better working shape ware products at a lower cost.

It’s really nice to see so many products coming out in support of breast cancer research. Winsor Pilates is a very good workout, and I imagine that this pink version is just as great as the regular. But why not work out and support a good cause at the same time?

Bethesda Sunscreen Soap is a very innovative product! It’s a bar of soap that contains sunscreen so you can protect your skin for the day while you wash. What could be easier than just replacing your regular bar of soap with one that can actually save your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

The first time I tried it was on a day when I knew I would be out in the sun a lot, a Saturday! The sunscreen seemed to do it’s job, as I didn’t get burned at all after spending the day in the garden. The SPF is 10, which is a perfect level of protection for everyday.

The soap is made with natural ingredients, and is reasonably priced at $8 a bar (considering the cost of regular sunscreen, this is a bargain)! The only problem that I had with the soap was the scent. Unfortunately it made me sneeze, but I have a very sensitive nose. It would likely not be an issue for most people, and the scent itself is a nice, light one.

So, if you want to add suncreen to your daily routine, but not have the hassel of applying it, the Bethesda Sunscreen Soap is the perfect product for you! Also, for more reviews of this product be sure to visit the Family Review Network.

I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of the new Tina Turner CD called Tina! This disc has all of the best Tina Turner songs on it, and even includes two previously unreleased songs as well as four concert recordings. This is the perfect CD for those who enjoy her music, but haven’t bought any of her previous releases.

I really enjoyed it because there were so many songs that I always turn up when they come on the radio. This is my first Tina Turner album, and I have to say it’s a great one! It has all the songs that I enjoy from her, and many I hadn’t heard before but now really enjoy.

Here is a sample of the songs:

  • River Deep Mountain High
  • Better Be Good To Me
  • Private Dancer
  • We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)
  • Proud Mary
  • And many others! 18 songs in total.

So, if you enjoy Tina Turner’s music but haven’t taken the plunge to add it to your collection yet, this is the right album for you! For more opinions and reviews about this new CD please visit the Family Review Network.

This chair has seriously been on my wish list since the first day that I saw it in the Gaiam catalog. It looks so comfortable, and at the same time, it looks like it could fit into any kind of home decor. I love the simple lines, and the creamy colored cushion. Plus, it’s eco friendly!

The recycled steel frame is durable, rust-proofed and powder-coated, and it’s a machine washable, natural fiber cover in natural cotton jacquard. Generously filled with CFC-free foam. Yes, this one is wish list worthy for sure!
